Changes in Dental Plaque Index and Satisfaction after Oral Health Education using Video Media: For Implant Patients

Objectives: By implementing oral health education using video media for implant patients, the goal was to change the subjects' awareness and improve their self-management abilities. Methods: Oral health education using video media was provided for a total of 9 weeks to implant patients who visited the dentist. Results: As a result of analyzing the change in the modified O'Leary Index for each session of oral health education using video media, the average value of the O'Leary Index test increased significantly from the beginning to the middle and from the middle to the end. Conclusions: The effectiveness of oral health education using video has been confirmed, and it will be used as data for expanding oral health education and developing programs.
