현대중국어 ‘서법(语态, mood)’과 ‘呢’의 상호작용 현상 분석을 통한 ‘呢’의 증거 양태 의미기능 검증

Verification of the semantic function of the evidence pattern of ‘呢’ through the analysis of the interaction phenomenon between ‘呢’ and ‘Chinese Mood’ in modern Chinese

본고는 진준화(2018b, 2019)의 논의에 의거해 진준화(2023a)가 제시한 현대중국어 ‘呢’가 진정으로 ‘증거 양태 의미기능’을 수행하는지에 대해 확인 및 검증을 시도하였다. 그 결과 진준화(2023a)의 논의는 상당한 타당성을 지닌 논의이며, 진술문과 의문문 문말에 사용된 현대중국어 ‘呢’는 중국어 서법으로 보았을 때, 역시 ‘증거 양태 의미기능’ 수행하며, 증거 양태 조사로 그 어법 지위를 부여해도 충분한 이견이 없음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 진준화(2018b, 2019)에서 주장한 바와 같이, 중국어 서법과 양태를 표현하는 ‘呢’와 같은 성분들이 표층구조와 심층구조에서 충분한 상호작용을 통해 문장 의미를 결정한다는 것도 확인 및 검증할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 “현대중국어 문말 조사 ‘呢’는 화자가 증거성에 입각해 현실 세계에 존재하는 ‘실체/상황/사건’에 대해 청자에게 ‘사실 확인 혹은 단정’이라는 의미 속성 및 기능을 수행하기 위해 사용된 증거 양태 조사이다.”라는 현대중국어 ‘呢’의 진정한 어법 기능의 정의를 확립할 수 있었던 기회이기도 하였다.

Based on the discussion of Jin, JoonHwa (2018b, 2019), this paper attempted to confirm and verify whether the modern Chinese ‘呢’ presented by Jin, JoonHwa (2023a) truly performs the ‘evidence pattern semantic function’. As a result, Jin, JoonHwa (2023a)’s discussion is a very valid discussion, and the modern Chinese ‘呢’ used in statements and question sentences also performs a ‘evidence mode semantic function’ in Chinese calligraphy, and it was confirmed that there was no sufficient disagreement even if the grammatical status was given by investigating evidence patterns of evidence. In addition, as claimed by Jin, JoonHwa (2018b, 2019), it was also confirmed and verified that components such as ‘呢’, which express Chinese calligraphy and patterns, determine sentence meaning through sufficient interaction in the surface and deep structure. Through this, it was also an opportunity to establish the definition of the true grammatical function of modern Chinese ‘呢’ that “the speaker used to perform the semantic attribute and function of ‘fact confirmation or conclusion’ to the listener for ‘real/situation/event’ existing in the real world based on evidence.”
