내러티브에 기반한 영유아 통합 교육과정 개발의 시론적 탐색

A Preliminary Exploration on the Narrative-based Early Childhood Integrated Curriculum Development

연구목적: 영유아 통합 교육과정 개발의 방향과 방안에 대하여 시론적으로 탐색하는 데에 있다. 그간 통합 교육과정 개발 방향은 다양하게 제시되어 왔지만, 영유아 교육의 본래적 성격에 가장 부합하는 대안으로 내러티브를 제시하면서, 이 교육과정에서의 내러티브의 유용성을 밝히는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 연구문제를 크게 세 가지, 즉 영유아교육과정의 현실태와 문제점은 무엇인가? 내러티브의 의미는 무엇인가? 영유아교육과정의 통합적 개발 방향은 무엇인가? 그리고 내러티브 교육과정의 시사점은 무엇인가? 등으로 설정하였다. 연구방법: 이상의 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 우선 탐색적 문헌연구를 주된 방법으로 사용하였다. 이 탐색적 문헌 연구의 진행 과정에서 내러티브 방식을 수업의 목표, 내용, 방법, 평가로 구성하여 이에 기반한 미래 영유아교육과정을 탐색하였다. 연구결과: 문헌조사를 통한 연구의 결과로서 내러티브에 기반한 영유아교육과정이 유아의 흥미, 필요, 실생활과 밀접한 학습의 제공으로 지식과 경험을 통합하여 인지, 정의, 행동적 요소를 모두 포함하는 총체적 인간상을 구현하는데 유용하다는 것을 밝히고 있다. 논의 및 결론: 이를 통해서 본 연구는 미래형 교육이 내러티브에 기반한 영유아교육과정으로 출발하여 초등학교 저학년까지 확장·연계될 수 있는 방향으로 나아가는 계기를 마련하는데 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

Purpose: This study aims to present narrative as an alternative to overcome the difficulties in integrating the early childhood curriculum. The research question is: What are the current problems of the infant care and early childhood education curriculum? What is the meaning of narrative? What are the integration methods of the future infant care and early childhood education curriculum? And what are the implications of narrative curriculum? Method: Literature research is used as the main research method. This study explored a future infant care and early childhood education curriculum based on the narrative by composing it into the goals, content, methods, and evaluation of the class. Results: The narrative-based infant care and early childhood education curriculum is closely related to the interests, needs, and real lives of infants and children. Conclusion: This study will contribute to providing an opportunity for future education to move in a direction.
