Recently, As medical technologies such as SARS-CoV in 2002, swine flu in 2009, Middle-East respiratory syndrome (MERS)-CoV in 2012, COVID-19 in 2019, African mon- keypox in 2022, China's Nipah virus, and Indian tomato virus develop, VIRUS continues to mutate and outpace the pace of human vaccine development. Propolis, an environmentally friendly natural antimicrobial agent that is not an artificial substance, was already a natural an- timicrobial substance that was widely used as a private medicine in Africa and Europe 300 years ago, and recently, it has gained worldwide attention as it has learned the toxicity and side effects of chemicals. This study experimentally obtained optimal extraction conditions after coat- ing water-soluble flavonoids, an antibacterial substance extracted from propolis, on PB (Particle board), plywood, and collective wood using LPM (Low Pressure Melamine) and experimented with antibacterial properties after making furniture using these materials. LPM (Low Pressure Melamine) treated interior materials are surface finishes with excellent strong wear resistance, scratch resistance, heat resistance, and chemical resistance, and flavonoid-coated eco-friendly antibacterial interior materials can be used in various building materials. It is judged that it can play an important role in hygiene management and safety improvement with a semi-per- manent antibacterial effect by applying it to the surface of furniture and indoor interior materi- als with many people's contact.
