Interview Study on Enhancing the Attractiveness of Seafarers from the Viewpoint of Korean Maritime Cadets

The majority of the research on hiring seafarers that has been done thus far has been examined through literature reviews from the viewpoint of researchers. This is why a study that finds the voices of students who are really training to be seafarers is necessary. Owing to the limitations of interview research, a study was required to make up for the qualitative research-based approach to interview analysis. This is the reason why the topic model analysis approach has garnered interest in the past. Using topic model analysis, 53 interviews with Mokpo Maritime University and Korea Maritime University students were obtained for this study. After extracting and analyzing 45 valid interviews, we discovered that prior research had addressed the significance of wages, or salaries.
