数字人文领域学术论文英译中的翻译转换研究

A Study of the E-C Translation Transformations on Academic Papers in the Field of Digital Humanities from the Perspective of Translation Shift Theory: A Case Study of Technology in Irish Literature and Culture

In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, digital development has permeated various fields of society, opening up a new field of digital humanities through the integration of digitalization with literature and culture. Collections of essays, as essential materials for research in the field of digital humanities, play an important role in the interdisciplinary research. This paper selects its source material from the collection Technology in Irish Literature and Culture edited by Margaret Kelleher and James O’Sullivan. From Catford’s Translation Shift Theory, the essay studies the phenomena of Category Shift and Level Shift that occur in translation and attempts to explore the realization approach of translation equivalence, with the aim of assisting readers of translations who study the interaction between Irish literature and culture with technology.

近年来科学技术飞速发展，数字化发展渗透在社会的各个领域，数字化与文学和文化结合开辟了数字人文的新领域。论文集作为研究数字人文领域的重要素材，对研究学科交融具有重要作用。本文源文选自玛格丽特·凯莱赫（Margaret kelleher）和詹姆斯·奥沙利文（James O’Sullivan）编撰的论文集《爱尔兰文学和文化中的科学技术》（Technology in Irish Literature and Culture），从卡特福德翻译转换理论出发，对翻译中所出现的范畴转换和层次转换现象进行研究，尝试探讨翻译等值的实现途径，以期为研究爱尔兰文学和文化如何与技术相互作用的译语读者提供帮助。
