유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육 불안과 양육 행동의 관계

Relationship between mothers’ parenting anxiety and parenting behavior for their early childhood children: Mediating effect of parenting stress and coparenting

목적 본 연구에서는 유아기 어머니의 양육 불안과 양육 행동(긍정적 양육 행동, 부정적 양육 행동)의 관계에서 양육 스트레스와 부부 공동양육의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 전국 소재 유아기 자녀를 1명 이상 양육하고 있는 어머니 290명을 대상으로 관련 변인을 측정하기 위해 온라인 검사를 실시하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 Macro v4.0을 사용하여 이중매개효과를 검증하였으며, 매개효과의 통계적 유의성 검증을 위해 Bootstrapping을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 유아기 어머니의 양육 불안, 양육 스트레스, 부부 공동양육은 모두 양육 행동과 유의미한 상관성이 나타났다. 둘째, 개별 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 양육 스트레스는 완전매개효과가 나타났고, 부부 공동양육은 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 이중 매개효과 검증 결과, 양육 스트레스와 부부 공동양육은 완전매개효과가 나타났고, 이때 양육 스트레스보다 부부 공동양육의 영향력이 상대적으로 더 큰 것으로 검증되었다. 결론 양육 불안과 양육 행동의 관계에서 양육 스트레스와 부부 공동양육이 매개역할 하는 것을 확인함으로써, 양육 행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 심리적 변인과 부부 공동양육의 중요성에 대해 실증적 증거를 마련했다.

Objectives The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationship between mothers’ parenting anxiety and parenting behavior(positive parenting behavior, negative parenting behavior) for their early childhood children. Methods To verify this research problem, data were analyzed on 290 mothers who were raising at least one children between 2 and 6 years old across the country. For the collected data, descriptive statistics, adequacy correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and sequential dual mediating effect analysis were performed using SPSS 26.0 and Macro v4.0. Results First, parenting anxiety, parenting stress, and coparenting of early childhood mothers all showed significant correlation with parenting behavior. Second, as a result of verifying the individual mediating effect, parenting stress showed a complete mediating effect and coparenting a partial mediating effect. Third, the dual mediating effects of parenting stress and coparenting were completely mediated, and at this time, it was verified that the influence of coparenting was greater than parenting stress. Conclusions By confirming the meaiating role of parenting stress and coparenting in the relationship between parenting anxiety and parenting behavior, empirical evidence has been established regarding the psychological variables influencing parenting behavior and the significance of coparenting.
