A Comparative Study of the Early Programs of the Communist Parties of China and Japan

The CPC and the Communist Party of Japan were born at almost same time and in the similar historical background. The two parties established the close connection in the early days. Meanwhile, during this period, both parties successively drafted their own programmatic documents. Four early programmatic documents, The First Program of the CPC, The Declaration of the Second National Congress of the CPC, The Draft Program of the Communist Party of Japan, and The Resolution on the Japanese Issue, reflect the cognitive and practical levels of the two political parties, and show many similarities in the drafting process, text nature, social understanding, revolutionary strategies, and attitudes to the Communist International. Besides, the formulation of the documents also reflects how different communist parties made decisions in different social histories, which greatly affected the practical level and subsequent development.

中国共产党和日本共产党在相同的时间、相似的历史背景诞生，两党在建党初期建立了密切的联系。同时，在这一时期，两党先后起草了自己的纲领性文件。《中国共产党第一个纲领》《中国共产党第二次代表全国代表大会宣言》《日本共产党纲领草案》《关于日本问题的决议》四部早期纲领性文件，反映了两个政党的认知水平和实践水平，在起草过程、文本性质、社会认识、革命策略、对共产国际的态度等方面呈现出诸多相似性。此外，两党纲领的制定也反映出不同社会历史下不同社会主义政党的不同选择，而这一选择的差异性很大程度上也影响了不同政党而后的实践水平和后续发展水平。
