Objective: This study aimed to investigate the acceptance and occupational intentions of physical therapy and occupational therapy majors regarding agro-healing, in order to provide fundamental data for expanding the scope of therapists in the field of agro-healing. Method: A survey was conducted targeting 237 rehabilitation major college students and therapists in the metropolitan area. Results: Firstly, as background variables for agro-healing, results showed that 73 individuals had healing experiences through agricultural activities, 39 individuals had exposure to agro-healing, and 26 individuals expressed a desire to work in the field of agro-healing. Secondly, acceptance of agrohealing was significantly higher among those who had experienced agro-healing compared to those who had not. Thirdly, regarding occupational intentions for agro-healing, significant differences were observed between groups that were familiar with agro-healing terminology and those that were not. Conclusion: It was found that current rehabilitation majors perceive agro-healing as a relatively unfamiliar field. However, individuals with high acceptance of agro-healing show interest in the field and consider it as a potential future career. With the enactment of the agro-healing Act in 2021, the role of rehabilitation majors in the field of agro-healing is expected to become more important in the future.
