This study aims to systematically review the literature on the application related to the evaluation and treatment of body awareness in individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Articles focusing on the evaluation and treatment of body awareness in individuals with Parkinson's disease from 2010 to 2021 were extracted from five electronic databases. Articles were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the methodological quality of the final selected articles was evaluated and systematically reviewed. A total of six articles were selected from the group experimental study design that applied body awareness evaluation or treatment with Parkinson's disease. Four articles involved randomized controlled trials and two articles involved non-randomized one group design. The selected articles were classified according to the level of evidence, and the evaluation and treatment of body awareness were systematically reviewed according to the PICO principle. This systematic review provides evidence that evaluation and treatment of body awareness is a necessary aspect for rehabilitation in individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The results suggest that body awareness in Parkinson's patients is a potentially detectable factor.
