Multiverse and Material Entanglement in PARALLELS

This paper discusses the humanity in PARALLELS from the perspectives of fictional narrative and material performativity. PARALLELS, an SF family drama, imbues literary narratives with the 'laws of physics' of the 'indeterminacy of matter and time'. In this work, the laws of matter are intertwined with the anthropological principle. The characters traveling to and from different entangled parallels achieve self-discovery by realizing the human bondage and relationality. Since the dawn of ancient literature and materialism, the multiverse has been a theme, encompassing both mythological and scientific mysteries. The prediction theory based on 'the infinity and randomness of atoms' posits the infinite world (multiverse). While ancient materialism did not ensure the connectivity between human and matter (non human), new materialism distinguishes itself by overcoming this limitation. Each parallel in PARALLELS is a simulacrum with its own unique existence. Tech-narratives in PARALLELS explore the intersection of technology and storytelling.
