The professionalism of childcare teachers is an important factor in determining the quality of infant care and education, and it is meaningful to examine related variables. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction, happiness, and perception of professionalism of childcare teachers, and to investigate the effect of job satisfaction and happiness on perception of professionalism of childcare teachers. The subject of the study was 285 nursery teachers working in daycare centers in Gwangju Metropolitan City, and a survey was conducted among them. The collected data were used using the SPSS 24.0 program, and correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis were performed. First, the results of the study showed that there was a correlation between job satisfaction, happiness, and perception of professionalism of childcare teachers. Second, childcare teachers' job satisfaction and happiness were found to be predictors of perception of professionalism. This study is expected to be used as basic data to find ways to improve job satisfaction and happiness, which are important variables in the perception of childcare teachers' professionalism.
