청소년기 자녀를 둔 아버지 대상 웹기반 심리교육프로그램 참여경험에 대한 질적 연구

The Qualitative Study for Experiencing Web-Based Fathering Psycho-Education Program for the Fathers of Adolescent Children

This study was purposed to explore the experiences of web-based fathering education program for the fathers of adolescent children. The data were collected by in-depth interviews with 8 participants. The 8 participants were the fathers of adolescent children. They were invited to participate in the study through a purpose-sampling method. The collected data were analyzed by a constant comparative analysis. The findings of the first question were categorized into the following two themes: (1) by his own voluntary needs, (2) by recommendation of others. The findings of the second question were categorized into the four themes: (1) chances of a new realization, (2) improvement of parenting competence and parenting efficacy as a father, (3) increase in satisfaction with life, (4) enhancement of satisfaction with family relationship. The findings of the third question were categorized into the two themes: (1) feedback on curriculum and operations, (2) feedback on contents of program. This study has a practical significance for improving fathering education program for the fathers of adolescent children in terms of curriculum, operation, and contents.
