The Influences of the Family-of-Origin Health of the Husband and Wife on Self-Esteem and Interpersonal Relationships of Children: Verification of the Mediator Effects of Self-Differentiation and Communication.

This research aims to verify mediator variables by analyzing the influences of the family-of-health of the husband and wife on the self-esteem and the interpersonal relationships of children through the mediators of self-differentiation and communication. A PLS structural equation model was developed. The result of the study are as follows. First, in the mediator verification for the husband, although self-differentiation mediated the family-of-origin health, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships of the children, communication was not mediated. In the case of the wife, although communication mediated the family-of-origin health, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships of the children, self-differentiation was not mediated Generation transition was verified by confirming the influences of the family-of-origin health on self-esteem and interpersonal relationships of the children by having self-differentiation and communication as the mediators.
