This study aimed to explore parenting experiences of preschool-age children’s mothers from multi-cultural families. An interpretive phenomenological approach was applied to better understand how the mothers perceive and describe their parenting experiences as marriage immigrant women. Data were collected through two semi-structured, in-depth interviews for 10 participants and analyzed by the interpretive phenomenological method suggested by Smith and Osborn[52]. Results showed interconnected relations among the participants’ parental beliefs based on mother country’s culture, acculturation to Korean culture, parenting behaviors, and self-awareness/evaluation as a parent. Two overarching themes, ‘comparisons of parenting behaviors between Korean mothers and multi-cultural mothers’ and ‘parenting experience of multi-cultural family mothers as immigrants in Korea society,’ emerged. With understanding of multi-cultural family mother’s parenting as an organic whole proper and systematic intervention approaches can be developed
