다문화 청소년의 사회적 위축이 비행에 미치는 영향

The impact of social withdrawal on delinquency in multicultural youth: Focusing on the moderated mediating effects of parental neglect and depression

이 연구는 다문화 청소년을 대상으로 이들이 겪는 사회적 위축과 비행행동과의 관계에 있어 어떤 경로를 통하여 발생하는지, 그 경로에 있어 위험요인으로서 부모의 방임이 어떤 영향을 주는지 통합적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 연구의 주요 변수들은 경험과 그에서 기인한 정서상태, 그리고 비행의 과정을 설명하는 일반긴장이론에 바탕을 두고 있다. 분석을 위하여 ‘다문화 청소년패널조사’ 중 1기 패널의 9차 1,145명을 대상으로 하여, SPSS 29.0을 활용하였다. 주 분석은 Process macro for SPSS(v4.2)의 model4와 Model7을 사용하였으며, 유효성 검증을 위해 부트스트래핑하였다. 분석결과 사회적 위축은 우울을 유의미하게 매개하여 다문화 청소년의 비행경험에 정(+)적인 관계가 있었으며, 부모의 방임은 우울과 유효한 정(+)적 관계가 성립하여 우울을 심화시키는 위험요인으로 확인되었다. 아울러 부트스트랩핑 결과 부모의 방임이 우울을 심화시키고 곧 비행으로 연결될 수 있다는 유효한 간접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 이 연구는 첫째, 비다문화청소년에 비하여 문화·경제적으로 특수한 환경에 놓인 다문화 청소년을 대상으로 한다는 점, 둘째, 비행행위까지의 다차원적인 경로를 탐색하고자 한 점, 셋째, 그 경로에 있어 위험요인을 선별하고자 한 점에 그 의의가 있다.

This study aimed to comprehensively analyze the path through which the relationship between social withdrawal and delinquent behavior occurs in multicultural youth and the impact of parental neglect as a risk factor on that path. For analysis, SPSS 29.0 was used, targeting 1,145 people from the 9th round of the first panel of the ‘Multicultural Youth Panel Survey’. The main analysis used model 4 and model 7 of Process macro for SPSS (v4.2), and bootstrapping was performed for validation. As a result of the analysis, social withdrawal had a positive relationship with multicultural youth's delinquency experience through depression, and parental neglect effectively worsened depression. Additionally, bootstrapping results showed that parental neglect had a valid indirect effect in the relationship between depression and delinquency. This study is significant in that it targets multicultural youth who are in a special environment compared to general youth, seeks to explore a multidimensional path to delinquent behavior, and seeks to select risk factors along that path.
