Analysis of the Relationship between Marine Tourism Policy and Academic Research: : Focusing on domestic journal

This study was conducted with the purpose of examining the marine tourism policy promoted by the government and analyzing the correlation of research on this topic in academic papers. The research results showed that there was a correlation between the marine tourism policy sector and the keywords of academic papers. However, the number of studies varies depending on the policy sector, so the correlation between policy direction and academic research is not high. In order to compensate for this, research that focuses on popular subjects and specific periods should be avoided, and researchers should pay attention to various sectors of marine tourism. In addition, research that leads government policy is needed rather than research that parallels or follows marine tourism trends, and it is also necessary to increase interest in marine tourism in various academic journals rather than focusing on specific academic journals.
