A Study on the Structural Relationships among Authenticity, Values, Satisfaction, and Behavioral Intentions in the Sub-Tropical Coastal Forest: Focused on Visitors to Wando Arboretum

The purpose of this study is to provide foundational data for establishing policies aimed at enhancing revisit intentions by strengthening the authenticity of sub-tropical coastal forests. To achieve this objective, the structural relationships among authenticity, values, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions were analyzed. The survey targeted tourists who visited Wando Arboretum, with a total of 309 responses collected from October 9th to October 11th, 2021, used for empirical analysis. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0, employing frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The results indicated that authenticity significantly influences both healing value and environmental value, each comprising two factors. Additionally, it was found that only environmental value significantly impacts satisfaction. Finally, satisfaction was identified as significantly influencing behavioral intentions. The findings of this study clarify the relationships among authenticity, values, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions based on prior research. Specifically, the study highlights the importance of developing various programs that utilize the unique and diverse resources of sub-tropical coastal forests to enhance the ecological environment and link healing values to satisfaction, thereby fostering behavioral intentions to revisit.
