The tourism industry has recently undergone significant changes due to the integration of artificial intelligence technology. Therefore, this study aims to examine the repercussions of using ChatGPT in the tourism industry, focusing on the balance between convenience and challenges. The results presented in this study are based on interviews with experts from various fields within the tourism industry. The integrated use of ChatGPT in tourism presents both convenience and challenges as urgent issues. To address these issues and consider sustainable development plans for the tourism industry, this study proposes measures such as enhancing tourism convenience, improving real-time speed, reducing costs, and ensuring safety in creating tourism content using generative AI like ChatGPT.
