A Study of Family Experiences of the Behavioral Problems of Adolescents

This study is performed to understand the structure of family experiences of adolescent behaviorproblems by analyzing and integrating family experiences in the domain of family type. This studyintends to discover in-depth family experience by analyzing the individual meaning of familyexperiences from client’s wording. This study was performed in phenomenological method. 54counseling transcripts of adolescent behavior problems were analyzed into family type. As results,37 units of meaning were derived 11units. There are 19 sub- meaning units. The analysis resultsare as follows : First, adolescent activity programs is required to be developed to overcomeloneliness. Second, parenting education programs for parents is required. Third, the family leisureprogram and infrastructure need to be set up. Forth, active guidance by parents should beinvigorated. The parents regiments need to align with community and youth facilities foradolescents activity and education program. Fifth, counseling system needs to be changed.
