This study examined effects of the person-environment fit on employees’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment. 203 workers from Healthy Family Support Centers were asked to complete a survey for the study. Major findings of this study are as follows: First, the analysis of variance revealed that there was a difference in the level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment depending on each individual’s person-environment fit; second, job satisfaction and organizational commitment were positively correlated with the sub-factors of the personenvironment fit and demographic variables; third, the effect of those sub-factors in relation to each component of job satisfaction and organizational commitment was drawn through linear regression to confirm more detailed relationship between them. The overall findings from this study showed that person-environment fit has a significant effect on workers’ intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction, and affective and normative commitment. This study hopes to contribute to the improvement of the work environment of those employed at Healthy Family Support Centers and to the promotion of more efficient organizational management.
