The Influence of Marital Satisfaction on Parenting efficacy in Marriage Migrant Women: Focused on the mediating effects of Acculturation and Social capital

The purpose of the study investigated the mediating effects of the acculturation and social capital on marital satisfaction and parenting efficacy. The survey data of 122 marriage migrant women with children living in rural was analyzed. The double mediated effect have been relevant that the more marital satisfaction had effect on acculturation, the higher acculturation had effect on social capital, lots of social capital had effect on parenting efficacy. And marital satisfaction had direct on parenting efficacy. For improving parenting efficacy of marriage migrant women, we need to consider comprehensive plan which contain marital satisfaction, acculturation and social capital. The study offered practical implications and limits, and they will contribute not only to how the marital satisfaction and the acculturation are increased but also to how the social capital is improved which would eventually increase the parenting efficacy.
