The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of work-family interaction on the happiness of married men. The participants were married men living in Daegu and Kyungbuk provinces. A survey was conducted from August 20th to September 25th. A total of 445 materials were used for the analysis of final data, and the SPSS WIN 18.0 program was used for analyzing the collected data. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the average of work-family enrichment was 3.36 points, that of family-work enrichment was 3.63 points, and that of happiness was 3.73 points. Second, the level of happiness was significantly different according to education level, monthly income, the age of the first child, family-friendly policies, and workplace flexibility. Third, the level of work-life enrichment (β=.294, p<.001) had the biggest effect on happiness, followed by life-work enrichment(β=.272, p<.001) monthlyincome(β=.139, p<.001), and education level(β=.118, p<.01). These findings imply that it is important to increase work-family interaction for the happiness of married men. Thus, a variety of social supports (guaranteed income, increased work flexibility, expansion of family-friendly polices), will be able to improve the happiness of married men.
