한부모가족 여성가장의 경험에 대한 연구

A Study on Single-Parent-Families with Female as a Head of the Family -Focused on Psychological‧Emotional & Social‧Economical Experience-

본 연구에서는 한부모가족 여성가장의 좋았던, 힘들었던 경험과 힘들었던 경험의 대처 과정을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 54명에게 자기보고(self-report)식의 개방형 질문지를 실시하고 합의적 질적 분석방법(Consensual Qualitative Research:CQR)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한부모가족 여성가장은 심리, 정서적으로 자유로움을 느끼고, 주도적으로 삶을 살며, 자녀와의 관계가 좋아진 경우도 있었으며, 사회, 경제적으로 자기 일에 전념, 경제적인 주도권을 가지며, 사회적인 대우를 받고 국가에서 사회적 지원을 받는 등의 좋았던 경험을 하였다. 둘째, 한부모 여성가장은 심리, 정서적으로 어려움에 처해 있고, 주위의 시선에 대한 부담과 경제적 어려움. 사회적 활동을 하면서 어려움을 경험 하였다. 가정적 경험으로 자녀 양육과 일상생활에의 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 셋째, 한부모 여성가장은 심리, 정서적으로 긍정적인 마음을 갖도록 노력하지만 주위에 방어적인 태도로 대처하는 모습도 보였다. 행동적 대처과정으로 자기개발에 노력을 하고, 봉사 및 취미활동을 하며, 사별한 경우 시댁으로부터 독립을 하는 대처과정을 사용하였다. 사회적 지지체계를 활용하는 대처과정으로 종교 활동을 하고, 자녀에게 의지, 친인척, 친구 도움을 받으며, 자조모임에 참여하고, 국가지원 체계를 활용하는 방법을 사용했다.

In this study, we tried to know what the hardest experience was and what the measuring process that Single might go through as a female family head. After surveying 54 people via self-report type survey, consensual qualitative research method has been used for result analysis. The research results are as the following. First, female family head are psychologically and emotionally free and leads their own life. Their relationship with their children became stronger in some cases and they have their own say in economical issues in their lives. They are respected in the society and was able to experience many experienced the good thing like the social support from the government. Second, female family head are psychologically and emotionally difficult. They felt difficulties in facing economical issues, social issues, and other people's view. Also, they experienced difficulties in raising their child and living their lives. Third, female family head tried their best to be psychologically and emotionally positive. They were defensive to other people's view and tried their best to develop their skills and hobbies. If husband was deceased, some chose to live independent from husband's family. To strengthen their social life, they were active in religious life and tried their best to get help from their families, friends, and government.
