결혼이주여성 남편의 가족스트레스, 사회적 지지가 결혼적응에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Family Stress and Social Support on Marital Adjustment for the Immigrant Woman’s Husband

이 연구는 기존 연구대상에서 배제되었던 결혼이주여성 남편의 가족스트레스, 사회적 지지와 가족스트레스, 사회적 지지와 결혼적응의 일반적인 경향을 살펴보고, 이들 변인들과 결혼적응과의 관련성을 살펴보고, 결혼적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 전남에 거주하고 있는 결혼이주여성 남편 213명을 대상으로 한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 결혼이주여성 남편의 결혼적응과 관련된 변수들의 영향력을 살펴보면, 주관적 차별감, 자아존중감, 가족스트레스, 사회적 지지가 유의한 영향을 주는 변인으로 주관적 차별감이 낮을수록, 자아존중감이 높을수록, 가족스트레스가 낮을수록, 사회적 지지가 높을수록 결혼적응이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구를 통하여 가족스트레스가 해결되지 않고 누적될수록 결혼적응에 역기능적으로 작용하며, 사회적 지지는 결혼이주여성 남편에게 위기를 극복하는 좋은 자원으로 결혼적응에 효율적임을 알 수 있었다.

In this study, the family stress of immigrant woman's husband, social support and general tendency of marital adjustment were examined for the purpose of providing basic data for the development of policies and services necessary to improve the marital adjustment of immigrant women’s spouses, who have been excluded as objects from existing studies. The data were collected through the questionnaire method on spouses of immigrant women who live in JeollaNamdo and 213 questionnaire copies in total were used as the data of the analysis. First, regarding the influence of the relevant factors to the marital adjustment of immigrant women’s spouses, the subjective feeling of discrimination, self-esteem, family stress and social support are factors that have significant influence. Through this study, I could understand that as family stress is accumulated, and not released, it reversely functions to marital status, and social support is effective for marital adjustment as a good source for immigrant women’s spouses to overcome crises.
