위탁부모의 양육효능감이 양육행동에 미치는 영향

Influence of Foster Parents' Parenting Efficacy on Rearing Behavior

본 연구는 위탁부모의 양육효능감과 위탁부모의 양육행동 간의 관계 및 위탁부모의 양육효능감이 위탁부모의 양육행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 위탁아동 양육에 작용하는 위탁부모의 심리적 변인들의 역할에 대한 이해를 도모하고 위탁부모의 교육측면에 기초자료를 제공하고자 함에 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 대전광역시 위탁부모 99명이다. 연구문제는 위탁부모의 양육효능감과 양육행동의 관계는 어떠한가? 위탁부모의 양육효능감이 양육행동에 미치는 설명력은 어떠한가? 이다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 위탁부모의 양육효능감이 높을수록 온정ㆍ수용적인 양육행동을 보이며 위탁부모의 양육효능감이 낮을수록 거부ㆍ제재적, 허용ㆍ방임적 양육행동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 위탁부모 양육행동에 영향을 미치는 위탁부모 양육효능감의 설명력을 살펴본 결과 위탁부모의 전반적 양육효능감과 의사소통능력에 대한 효능감이 높을수록 온정 ㆍ수용적 양육행동을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 위탁부모의 전반적 양육효능감이 높을수록 위탁부모는 거부ㆍ제재적 양육행동을 덜 하는 것으로 나타났고 훈육능력에 대한 효능감이 높을수록 위탁부모는 거부ㆍ제재적 양육행동의 경향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 위탁부모 양육효능감 요인 중 위탁부모의 허용ㆍ방임적 양육행동을 설명하는 유의미한 변인은 나타나지 않았다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations between and the influence of foster parents' parenting efficacy and foster parents' rearing behavior. The subjects were 99 foster parents who live in Daejeon. The results of the research are as follows: First, as the foster parents' parenting efficacy grew, the foster parents tended to show an affectionate-reception rearing behavior. As the foster parents' parenting efficacy lowered, the foster parents tended to show rejection-restriction and permissiveness-nonintervention rearing behaviors. Second, as the foster parents' overall parenting efficacy and parenting efficacy about communication ability grew, the foster parents tended to show an affectionate-reception rearing behavior. As the foster parents' overall parenting efficacy grew, the foster parents tended to show less rejection-restriction rearing behavior. As the foster parents' parenting efficacy about ability to coach the foster children grew, the foster parents tended to show a rejection-restriction rearing behavior. However, there was no relevant foster parents' parenting efficacy variables found in the foster parents' permissiveness-nonintervention rearing behavior.
