Factors of Married Couples Influencing the Marital Satisfaction of Wives in Multicultural Families

본 연구의 목적은 다문화 가족 아내의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 인구사회학적 특성, 아내 관련 변인, 남편 관련 변인을 연구하는 것이다. 본 연구는 다문화 가족 부부의 결혼생활의 질을 제고할 수 있는 다양한 가족복지서비스 및 프로그램을 개발하는데 기여할 것이다. 자료 수집은 다문화 가족 부부 84쌍을 질문지법으로 조사하였으며, 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 상관관계, 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 다문화 가족 아내의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인들에 대한 상대적 영향력을 분석한 결과, 첫 번째로 다문화 가족 부부의 연령차이와 결혼중개업소 이용여부는 다문화 가족 아내의 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 두 번째로 다문화 가족 아내 관련 변인은 결혼만족도에 모두 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 다문화 가족 남편 관련 변인 중에서 우울, 다문화 수용태도, 결혼만족도가 아내의 결혼만족도에 통계적으로 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors of married couples influencing the marital satisfaction of wives in multicultural families. This study will provide basic data to develop services and programs for multicultural families. The data were collected via the questionnaire method on 84 couples of multicultural families. Correlation analysis and multiple regression were performed to analyze the independent effect of the related variables. The results were as follows:First, regarding the influence of the relevant factors on the marital satisfaction of wives in multicultural families, the age gap between the couple and the use of a marriage mediation business do not significantly influence on the wife’s marriage. Second, the wife’s variables do not significantly influence on other variables. Third, depression, multi-cultural acceptance attitude and the marital satisfaction of the husband are factors that significantly influence on the wife’s marital satisfaction.
