초등학교 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육태도 양호도 및 부모 간 양육일치도가 정서적 부적응 및 사회성에 미치는 영향

The effects of the quality and consistency of parents' child-rearing attitudes on the emotional and social maladjustments of children

본 연구는 초등학교 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육태도 양호도 및 부모 간 양육일치도가 아동기 자녀의 정서적 부적응 및 사회성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 시도되었다. 연구 대상자는 부산지역 3개 초등학교의 4～6학년 남녀 학생 356명이었다. 조사는 부모의 양육태도 척도, 정서적 부적응 척도, 사회성 척도 등을 가지고 설문조사로 수행되었으며, 부모의 양육태도 양호도는 양육의 양호도 수준에 따라 3분할하여 양호, 보통, 불량 집단으로 나누고 양육일치도는 부모간 양육방식의 일치와 불일치 여부에 따라 일치, 불일치 집단으로 양분하여 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 빈도분석, 교차분석, 변량분석의 통계적 분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과, 첫째, 피검자들의 정서적 부적응 및 사회성은 부모의 양육태도의 양호도에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 흥미롭게도 부모 간 양육태도의 일치 여부는 아동기 자녀의 정서적 부적응 및 사회성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 셋째, 부모의 양육태도 양호도와 부모 간 양육일치도는 서로 상호작용하여 아동기 자녀의 정서적 부적응과 사회성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 부모의 양육태도가 자녀의 정서적 부적응과 사회성에 미치는 효과는 부모간 양육태도가 일치하느냐 일치하지 않느냐에 따라 다르게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the quality and father-mother consistency of parents' child-rearing attitudes on the emotional and social maladjustments of their children. The subjects were 356 4th to 6th grade elementary school children from 3 schools in Busan. Parents'child-rearing attitudes were measured through Kim, Ki-Jeong(1984)'s scale, and the subjects were divided into 3 groups(good, ordinary, bad) depending on the quality of their parents' child-rearing attitudes, and into another two groups (consistent and inconsistent) depending on the father-mother consistency of parents' child-rearing attitudes. The emotional and social maladjustments of children were measured through the scales revised by Choi, A-ra(2008) and Moon, Ae-Sun(2006) respectively. The results are as follows; First, the subjects' emotional and social maladjustments depended significantly on the quality of parents' child-rearing attitudes. The more positively reared children showed significantly higher levels of emotional and social adjustment. Second, the father-mother consistency in the child-rearing attitudes did not make any significant differences on the emotional and social maladjustments of children. Third, a significant interaction effect of the quality and father-mother consistency of parents' child-rearing attitudes was found on the emotional and social maladjustment of children. The results were discussed in regards to the child and family counseling for the emotional and social difficulties.
