결혼이주여성의 개인적, 문화적, 사회적 특성이 결혼생활만족도에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Personal, Cultural, and Social Factors on the Marital Satisfaction of Marriage Migrant Women in Korea

본 연구는 (재)경기도가족여성개발원의 경기도내 국제결혼이민자가족의 실태조사 자료를 2차자료 분석하여, 결혼이주여성의 개인적, 문화적, 사회적 특성이 결혼생활만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 개인적 특성요인으로는 결혼기간, 부부의 나이차, 소득수준, 학력수준, 한국어구사능력, 주관적 건강상태를 포함하였으며, 문화적 특성요인으로는 가족가치관과 부부간 의사소통 형태, 사회적 특성요인으로는 기관이용과 모임참여 여부를 포함하였다. 위계적 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 경기도에 거주하는 결혼이주여성 380명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 결혼기간이 짧을수록, 외국인 부인의 한국어 구사능력이 높을수록, 건강할수록 결혼생활만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가족가치관이 가족중심적일수록 결혼생활만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지의 실천적 함의에 대해 논의하였다.

The aim of this was to identify the influence of personal, cultural, and social factors on the marital satisfaction of marriage migrant women in Korea, using hierarchical multiple regression methods. The dataset used in this study was from the Gyeonggi-do Family and Women's Research Institute. The sample included in the regression model was 380 marriage migrant women in Gyeonggi-do. The result indicated that marital satisfaction was associated with the length of marriage, language ability, health, and family values of the marriage migrant women. In other words, women with shorter length of marriage, better language ability, better health, and more family-centered family value were more likely to be satisfied with their marriage. Based on the results of the study, implications for social work practice were discussed as well.
