다문화가족상담모델 개발을 위한 탐색적 연구

A Study on The Development of a Multi-cultural Family Counseling Model

본 연구에서는 다문화가족지원센터 종사자들을 대상으로 다문화가족상담 현장에서 이들이 경험하는 상담경험을 살펴봄으로써 다문화가족상담모델 개발을 위한 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통하여 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 다문화가족지원센터 종사자들의 상담 경험에 대한 전반적인 인식을 기술하고 분석하였다. 그 결과, 4개의 주제, 12개의 범주, 16개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 4개의 주제는 다문화가족상담의 정의, 다문화가족상담가 자질, 다문화가족지원센터의 상담환경에 대한 인식, 다문화가족지원센터 네트워크에 대한 인식이며, 12개의 범주는 상담의 영역상담의 목적, 상담가로서의 한계, 특수한 역량 갖추기, 직급에 따른 상이한 역할 인식, 업무의 비중인력의 배정, 현재 업무에 대한 인식, 새로운 상담환경의 필요네트워크의 필요, 도농간 지역격차관계의 재조정 이며, 16개의 하위범주로 모호함 - 같은 출발, 다른 방향, 특수한 영역으로서의 다문화, 개인측면-결혼이주여성의 행복 찾기, 가족측면-한국생활적응, 기본적인 상담역량 갖추기, 다문화 역량 갖추기, 가족상담 능력 갖추기, 상담관련 실무에 따른 차이, 기본업무 중심, 인력배치의 부익부 빈익빈, 전담인력의 추가배치, 업무 소진, 사례관리, 자조모임의 활성화, 기존 종사자들의 양성화, 수직에서 수평으로가 나왔으며, 이를 중심으로 다문화상담모델 개발을 위한 기초 논의가 제시되었다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of the workers in Multi-cultural Family Centers in order to acquire in-depth understanding of their personal and professional lives and difficulties they face in Multi-cultural Family counseling field. For this, We used focusing group interview, one of qualitative research methods. A series of focus group interviews with workers in Multi-cultural Family Centers was conducted. The focus group interview was transcribed, and four themes, twelve categories and sixteen sub-categories were identified. First, four themes are multi-cultural family counseling identification, quality of counselor, perception of counseling background, and perception of Multi-cultural Family Centers Network. Second, twelve categories are the area of counseling, the purpose of counseling, the limit of one's counseling ability, the having a special ability as a counselor, the perception of difference in career role, the assignment of workers, the perception of one's duty, the need of new counseling background, the need of local area network, the restructuring of the gap between towns and farms. The implications of the study's findings are discussed and direction is offered for development of a Multi-cultural Family Counseling Model.
