Mainstreaming Young Children with Handicaps at the Day Care Program: Case study of Gokgyo Day-care Center

The purpose of this study is to find the possibility of integrating young children with handicaps at the Gokgyo Day-care Center. The positive result of the mainstreaming day-care progrem are: 1. positive educational influence on the social development of nomal children. 2. the parents of normal children were able to develope positive attitude on handicapped children. 3. high educational achivement on handicap children. 4. teacher were able to increase the problem solving skill. 5. improvement of the quality of the progrem. Therefore mainstreamed day care progrem with handicapped children had positive influence not only on handicap children, but also on normal children, their parents, teacher, and educational environment.
