The purpose of this study is to review the concept and development of Family Art Therapy and to find tendency of researches in the Family Art Therapy. There have been a few articles about theoretical investigation of Family Art Therapy since the 1990's in korea. But it isn't enough to understand the concept and development of Family Art Therapy comprehensively. In this aspect, we can find the goal of this study. As the result, Family Art Therapy is powerfully effective to diagnosis, to intervene and improve the family and children's problem, disorder, maladaptive behavior.
