An Analysis of Studies About Parental Characteristics and Caring Attitude Influencing to Child Development with Studies Since 1990s

The study analyzed 106 papers including masters thesis and Ph. D. dissertation and 44 articles from 1990 to 1997 with relevant to child development through parental characteristics and parent-children relationship. Among various variables related to effects on child development, this study tried to find out variables between children development and their parents. Based on the results of the study, the most important variables in child development are found to be maternal characters which have effects on their fostering behavior and their child behavior and relationship between parents and their children. According to the study, programs for enhancing relationship between parents and their child are needed in order to develop child positive development. In an information society, some programs using multi-media are needed to develop in order to solve problems which lies in management of current education programs for parents.
