Attitude of Parents and Adolescents' Home Education

The purpose of this study were to find the general trends of parents and adolescents' home education attitude, to analyze correlation and influence of the explaining their home education attitude. The subjects were 328 dyads of parents and adolescents' living in Kwang-ju and Seoul. 1. Parents' family relationship, children's friend · school, traditional family life, job related education except economical item were siginificantly higher than adolescents. That is, parents have more traditional attitude of children education than their adolescents'. 2. Parents and adolescents' were positively related to home education attitude. So, if parents and their adolescents have more traditional sexual attitude, they will have more traditional home education attitude. 3. Children education attitude of fathers was influenced by age, sex-role attitude, home education strictness, home education satisfaction, that of mothers was influenced by income, sex-role attitude, home education strictness, home education satisfaction, and that of children was influenced by their parents education level, sex-role attitude, home education strictness, home education satisfaction.
