The major findings of study were as follows: 1. In respect to family functioning characteristics, the more runaway frequency was, the lower family cohesion was. 2. In respect to parenting characteristics, the more runaway frequency was, the higher the degree of parents' rejection was. 3. In respect to parenting abuse, non-runaways showed higher degree of child abuse than chronic runaways.
