A Study on the Meaning of Place of ‘Kim Kwang Seok Road’

본 연구는 ‘김광석다시그리기길’의 장소적 의미를 고찰한다. 이를 위해 연구방법은 문헌연구, 심층 면접, 현장조사, 참여관찰을 시행한다. 이를 통해 ‘김광석다시그리기길’의 형성과정을 살피고, ‘김광석다시그리기길’의 기획과 창작과정, 관광객의 행위를 분석한다. ‘김광석다시그리기길’은 집단기억의 장소를 발견하고, 추모의 공간이라는 새로운 의미가 부여된다. 그리고 ‘김광석다시그리기길’은 대중가수 ‘김광석’을 상상하게 하고, 권력과 기존 질서가 지배하는 구조에 저항하기도 한다. ‘김광석다시그리기길’의 활성화를 위해 나아갈 방안은 먼저 ‘김광석다시그리기길’은 ‘김광석’을 상징하는 대표적인 문화 행사를 기획해야 한다. 또한 ‘김광석다시그리기길’은 시민들이 주체적으로 행동할 수 있는 공간으로 기능해야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to derive the meaning of place of ‘Kim Kwang Seok Road’. The research method include literature research, field surveys, depth interview, field surveys and participatory observations. Through this, the formation process of the ‘Kim Kwang Seok Road’ was examined, and the planning and creation process of the ‘Kim Kwang Seok Road’ and the behavior of tourists were analyzed. The “Kim Kwang Seok Road” discovers a place of collective memory and is given a new meaning as a space of memorial. In addition, the “Kim Kwang Seok Road” makes us imagine the popular singer Kim Kwang-seok and resists the structure dominated by power and existing order. The way to revitalize the “Kim Kwang Seok Road” is to first plan a representative cultural event that symbolizes the “Kim Kwang-seok.” And the “Kim Kwang Seok Road” should function as a space where citizens can act independently.
