생성형 AI를 활용한 학문 목적 한국어 토론 수업 방안 연구

A Study on the Korean Discussion Instruction Method for Academic Purpose Using Generative AI - Based on Gagné’s Events of Instruction and STCPR

In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the education world is paying attention to the use of Edutech. The learning competencies that learners must have in this era are represented by digital literacy, which requires critical thinking skills, comprehensive thinking skills, and the ability to distinguish fake information. In addition, with the spread of Generative AI, these abilities are becoming more important, and an ethical attitude toward learning is also required. In this study, by applying the instructional model STCPR for strengthening digital literacy capabilities and the teaching situation of Gagné’, a learner’s self-directed learning model, to Korean discussion classes for academic purposes, a class was designed to strengthen learners’ self-directed learning capabilities and digital literacy capabilities. In particular, in the pre-debate stage, Generative AI is actively used in the preparation stage of the discussion content. A three-step procedure was constructed to allow learners to use Generative AI. Capturing and uploading questions and answers for a Chat GPT search, verifying whether the answers to Chat GPT are correct and presenting verification methods, and taking notes on the contents of the discussion using Chat GPT, Google Bard, and other reference materials. This enabled learners to use Generative AI critically and ethically. As a result of conducting a discussion class for academic purposes with 8 graduate students, a positive response was drawn. The significance of this study can be found in the suggestion of ways to effectively use the latest technologies for Academic Korean discussion.
