대학생활과 진로설계 교과목이 대학생의 진로자기조절, 진로탐색행동 및 진로의사결정에 미치는 효과

Effects of college life and career planning courses on college students’ career self-regulation, career exploration behavior, and career decision-making

최근 교육부의 정부재정지원사업이나 대학평가의 기본계획을 살펴보면, 취업률보다 맞춤형 진로교육 및 상담, 진로 및 취업 지원체계 구축 등을 강조하고 있으며, 이에 대학에서는 대학생들의 진로설계에 필수적인 요소 또는 대학의 특성을 고려하여 진로 교과목을 운영하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 충남 소재 S대학교에서 운영 중인 저학년 대상의 ‘대학생활과 진로설계’ 교과목의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 진로자기조절, 진로탐색행동, 진로의사결정 수준이 향상되는지 검증하였다. 교과목 수강생 중 119명을 대상으로 사전-사후 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 분석결과, 진로자기조절, 진로탐색행동, 진로의사결정 모두 사후평균이 사전평균에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 3개의 주요변인의 하위요인도 대부분 사후평균이 더 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 진로자기조절의 하위요인인 긍정적 진로사고의 사후평균이 사전평균에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과를 종합하여 진로 및 취업 교과목 운영 시 수업효과를 높이기 위해 표준강의안 적용, 교과목 환류체계 등의 실천적 방안을 제시하였다.

Looking at the Ministry of Education's recent government financial support project or basic plan for university evaluation, it emphasizes customized career education and consulting, and the establishment of a career and employment support system, rather than employment rates. Accordingly, universities are operating career courses for lower grades, taking into account the essential elements for career planning and the characteristics of the university. Accordingly, in this study, we checked whether the level of career self-regulation, career exploration behavior, and career decision-making improved in order to verify the effectiveness of the ‘University Life and Career Planning’ course for lower grades operated by S University located in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do. A pre and post survey was conducted on 119 students taking the course. As a result of the analysis, the post-average was found to be higher than the pre-average for career self-regulation, career exploration behavior, and career decision-making, and a statistically significant difference was also found. Most of the subfactors of the three major variables also showed higher postmeans, but the post average of positive career thinking, a subfactor of career self-regulation, was found to be lower than the preaverage. By combining the analysis results, practical measures such as application of standard lecture plans and subject feedback system were presented to increase the effectiveness of the subjects when operating career and employment subjects.
