A Study on the Relationship between Childcare Teachers' Health Awareness, Healthy Lifestyle Habits, Health Beliefs, and Awareness of Infectious Disease Prevention Practice

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between childcare teachers' health consciousness, health life, habits, health beliefs, and awareness of infectious disease prevention practices. The subjects of the study were 469 childcare teachers working at daycare centers located in five districts of G Metropolitan City. The research tools are health awareness, healthy lifestyle habits, health beliefs, and infectious disease prevention practices. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 21.0 and Smart PLS 4.0 programs. The result of the study, first, health awareness was found to have a significant impact on healthy lifestyle habits, awareness of infectious disease prevention practices, and health beliefs. Healthy lifestyle habits were found to have a significant impact on health beliefs and awareness of infectious disease prevention practices. Health beliefs were found to influence awareness of infectious disease prevention practices. Second, the perceived sensitivity and perceived benefit of health beliefs were found to play a mediating role between health awarenes and awareness of infectious disease prevention practices.
