민간경비원 신임교육의 메타버스 적용방안 연구

A Study on the Application of the Metaverse for the New Education of Private Security Officers

최근 다중운집시설에서 발생한 이상 동기 범죄와 진화하고 있는 수법을 통한 범죄로 경비의 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있다. 범죄 발생이 시간과 대상 그리고 공간이 정해져 있지 않기에 공경비인 경찰보다 민간경비의 경우 다양한 사건·사고의 위험성에 노출되어 있다는 점에서 각종 사건과 사고대비 교육은 매우 중요하다. 특히 민간경비의 출발점이라 할 수 있는 민간경비원 신임교육은 다양한 사건·사고 발생 및 가능성이 있는 장소에서 근무를 하기에 실무에 적합한 교육이 필요하다. 민간경비원신임교육은 이론 과목과 실무 과목으로 구성되어 있는데, 가장 현실감 있는 교육이 필요함에도 불구하고, 교육장에서 강의가 대부분인 점은 매우 제한적 교육이 될 수밖에 없다. 그렇다면 실무에 가장 적합한 상황이 교육이 필요한데 그 대안은 메타버스가 될 수 있다. 가상공간과 현실 세계가 융합된 메타버스를 활용한 교육은 더욱 현실감 있는 교육이 가능하다는 점은 우리에게 시사하는 바가 크다. 훈련상황 자체가 위험 요소라 할 수 있는 재난 훈련의 경우 위험성의 감소와 비용 절감 등으로 메타버스가 활용되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 메타버스와 민간경비원 신임교육과 유사 사례를 통해 민간경비원 신임교육에 메타버스 활용 가능성에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

Recently, the importance of security has been more emphasized due to abnormally motivated crimes that have occurred in multi-carriage facilities and crimes through evolving methods. Education in preparation for various incidents and accidents is very important in that private security rather than police is exposed to the risk of various incidents and accidents, which are public expenses because crime occurrence does not have a fixed time, target, or space. In particular, suitable new training for private security guards, which can be said to be the starting point of private security, is required for practice because they work in places with various incidents, accidents, and possibilities. The new private security guard education consists of theoretical and practical subjects, and despite the need for the most realistic education as possible, the fact is that mostly lectures are conducted in the education field in a very limited manner. If so, the best situation for practice requires education, and one alternative can be the metaverse. There are great implications for us regarding education using a metaverse in which virtual space and the real world are fused, enabling more realistic education. In the case of disaster training, where the training situation itself is a risk factor, the metaverse is being used to reduce risk and reduce costs. This study aims to discuss the possibility of using the metaverse for new private security guards through similar cases with a new metaverse and private security guards.
