사회복지사들의 계속교육 경험에 대한 질적 연구

A Qualitative Analysis Study of Continuing Education Experiences Among Social Workers

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지사들의 계속교육 경험을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 연구방법은 질적 연구접근 중 하나인 질적 사례연구 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 계속교육 경험을 파악하기 위해, 사회복지사들을 대상으로 초점집단면접을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 코로나19로 인해 비대면 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 범주화 작업을 통해 계속교육의 구조와 과정을 분석하였다. 계속교육의 구조는 ‘학부 교육의 쓸모’, ‘현장에서 터득하기’, ‘내부교육’, ‘외부교육’, ‘보수교육’, ‘전달교육’, ‘영향과 한계’ 등 다양한 범주로 구성되었다. 계속교육의 과정은 고등교육 체계, 조직 내부교육, 조직 외부교육으로 구분하고 그 의미를 기술하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 사회복지사 계속교육 체계 개선을 위한 교육 플랫폼 운영, 연속성 있는 계속교육 운영, 개별 및 조직 차원의 계속교육 기획과 수행, 실용적인 계속교육 운영 등을 제언하였다.

This study aims to understand the continuing education experiences of social workers using a qualitative case study approach. Data was collected through focus group interviews with social workers, conducted remotely. The collected data was categorized to analyze the structure and process of continuing education. The workers’ experiences were categorized into various themes, including the utility of undergraduate education, field learning, internal and external education, in-service education, transmissive education, and impacts and limitations. Continuing education was analyzed within higher education systems, internal organizational education, and external organizational education, with an examination of their structure and significance. This study suggests improvements for the continuing education system, such as operating educational platforms, ensuring continuous education, designing education at individual and organizational levels, and providing practical continuing education.
