교육전문대학원의 혁신전략에 대한 교수의 인식과 시사점

Faculty Perceptions and Implications of Innovation Strategies in Graduate Schools of Education: The Case of G Graduate School of Education

본 연구의 목적은 교육전문대학원의 연구 역량 강화 및 교육의 질 향상을 위한 혁신 전략에 대한 교수의 인식을 탐색하고 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 4단계 BK21 사업에 참여한 20개 대학원의 사례를 분석하고 교수진 설문조사를 통해 혁신방안을 도출하였다. 먼저 선행 연구를 통해 12개의 운영 혁신 요소를 식별하였고, 이를 교육과정, 연구지원, 복지개선의 세 가지 주요 분야 및 20개의 구체적인 혁신방안으로 분류하여, 관련 내용으로 G 교육전문대학원의 68명 교수진을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 자료를 중요도-필요도 분석, t-검정, Borich 요구도 분석, The Locus for Focus 모형을 사용하여 분석한 결과, 교육과정 분야에서는 유사 전공 간의 공동교과목 운영과 교과목 정비, 복지개선 분야에서는 밀착 지도가 교육전문대학원 혁신의 우선순위 요구 사항으로 확인되었다. 이러한 발견은 교육전문대학원의 교육 혁신을 위한 실행계획 수립과 성과 향상을 위한 기반 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

This study aims to investigate the perceptions of faculty members regarding strategies for enhancing research capabilities and elevating the quality of education within graduate schools of education, with an emphasis on drawing practical implications. Utilizing case studies from 20 graduate schools participating in the fourth phase of the BK21 project, we identified innovative approaches through faculty surveys. The analysis revealed 12 operational innovation factors, which were systematically organized into three domains: curriculum, research support, and welfare improvement, alongside 20 specific measures of innovation. Employing a comprehensive methodological framework that includes an importance-need analysis, t-test, Borich needs analysis, and The Locus for Focus model, we analyzed responses from an online survey of 68 faculty members from the G Graduate School of Education. The findings showed the critical need for innovation in areas such as joint course offerings among similar majors and curriculum development within the curriculum domain, as well as enhanced mentorship in the welfare improvement domain. These insights serve as a foundational framework for formulating strategic action plans aimed at fostering educational innovation and elevating performance metrics within graduate schools of education.
