신규간호사의 심폐소생술 지식과 수행자신감이 심폐소생술 수행능력에 미치는 영향

Influences of knowledge and confidence on performance ability of cardiopulmonary resuscitation among new nurses

목적 본 연구에서는 신규간호사들의 심폐소생술 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 심폐소생술 지식과 심폐소생술 수행자신감을 선정하고 이들 변수 간의 관계를 확인하며 심폐소생술 지식과 심폐소생술 수행 자신감이 심폐소생술 수행능력에 주는 영향 정도를 확인하였다. 방법 경기도 소재 C 대학병원의 신규간호사 144명을 대상으로 심폐소생술 지식과 심폐소생술 수행자신감, 심폐소생술 수행능력을 온라인 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 Spearman 상관분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 결과 심폐소생술 지식이 높을수록 수행자신감이 높았고(r=.28, p=.001) 심폐소생술 수행능력이 높아지는 관계를 보였다(r=.26, p=.002). 심폐소생술 수행자신감이 높을수록 수행능력이 높아지는 양의 상관관계를 보였다(r=.82, p<.001). 심폐소생술 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 공변인인 성별, 근무부서, 교육만족도의 영향력을 통제하였을 때, 심폐소생술 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 변수는 심폐소생술 수행자신감이었으며(β=.78, t=14.39, p<.001) 분산의 설명력은 50.5%(F=111.17, p<.001)이었다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 신규간호사의 심폐소생술 수행능력을 향상시키기 위해 심폐소생술 수행자신감을 높일 수 있는 교육방법과 교육프로그램 개발을 위한 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Objectives This study determines the influences of knowledge and confidence on the performance ability of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPCR) among new nurses. Methods In this study correlational study, 144 new nurses completed questionnaires of a CPCR knowledge, a CPCR confidence, and a performance ability of CPCR. Data were analyzed by Spearman correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results CPCR knowledge positively correlated with CPCR confidence and performance ability of CPCR (r=.28, p=.001; r=.26, p=.002). CPCR confidence positively with performance ability of CPCR (r=.82, p<.001). Higher CPCR confidence affected higher performance ability of CPCR explained 50.5% of variance after adjusting covariates of sex, working units, and satisfaction with in-service education. Conclusions The results suggest that a nursing program to enhance CPCR confidence and performance ability of CPCR could be developed as an effective strategy for qualified new nurses and patients safety.
