문제중심학습(PBL) 기반 건강사정 및 실습 교육이 간호대학생의 비판적사고, 문제해결능력, 자기주도학습능력에 미치는 효과

The Effects of PBL-based Health Assessment on Critical Thinking, Problem-solving Ability, and Self-directed Learning Ability of Nursing Students

목적 본 연구는 간호대학생의 비판적사고, 문제해결능력, 자기주도학습능력 향상을 위해 문제중심학습(PBL) 기반 건강사정 및 실습 교육프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하고자 시도되었다. 방법 연구 대상은 P시에 소재한 대학의 간호대학생 1학년 48명으로 2021년 8월부터 12월까지 연구가 진행되었다. 실험군에게는 PBL 기반 건강사정 및 실습 교육프로그램을 1회기에 3시간씩 총 13차시 39시간을 제공하였고, 프로그램의 효과 확인을 위해 PBL 기반 학습 전과 후에 동일한 설문지를 이용하여 조사하였다. 결과 PBL 기반 건강사정 및 실습 교육프로그램 적용 후 비판적 사고는 3.62±0.35에서 4.06±0.67점으로(t=-4.28, p<.001), 문제해결능력은 3.46±0.39에서 3.93±0.73점으로(t=-3.87, p<.001), 자기주도학습능력은 3.32±0.33에서 3.80±0.77점으로(t=-3.56, p<.001) 유의하게 증가하였다. 결론 PBL 기반 건강사정 및 실습 교육은 간호대학생의 비판적사고, 문제해결능력, 자기주도학습능력 향상에 효과적인 교수학습법임을 확인하였다.

Objectives This study aimed to develop and validate the effectiveness of a PBL-based health assessment practice education program for enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-directed learning skills among nursing students. Methods The study involved 48 first-year nursing students in P City, and was conducted from August to December 2021. The experimental group received the PBL-based health assessment practice education program, totaling 39 hours over 13 sessions (3 hours each). The program's impact was measured using the same questionnaire administered before and after PBL-based learning. Results Following the implementation of the PBL-based health assessment training program, critical thinking increased significantly from 3.62±0.35 to 4.06±0.67 points (t=-4.28, p<.001), problem-solving ability from 3.46±0.39 to 3.93±0.73 points (t=-3.87, p<.001), and self-directed learning ability rose significantly from 3.32±0.33 to 3.80±0.77 points (t=-3.56, p<001). Conclusions PBL-based health assessment practice education effectively enhances critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-directed learning abilities among nursing students.
