남성의 심리적 외상 경험과 도박중독 간의 관계에서 과도한 남성성의 조절 효과

The Moderating Effect of Unmitigated Agency on the Relationship Between Male Psychological Trauma Experiences and Gambling Addiction

목적 본 연구는 성인 남성의 심리적 외상경험이 도박중독에 미치는 효과가 과도한 남성성 수준에 따라 달라지는지 확인하고자 하였다. 방법 연구 대상자는 20-60대 사이의 성인 남성으로 선정하였다. 자료 수집 업체를 통해 온라인으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 299명의 자료를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0을 사용하여 기술 통계, 피어슨 상관 분석, 회귀 분석을 활용하여 분석되었으며 prosess marco model 1을 사용하여 조절효과에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 결과 첫째, 남성의 심리적 외상경험과 과도한 남성성은 도박중독과 유의한 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 남성의 심리적 외상경험과 도박중독 간의 관계에 대한 과도한 남성성의 조절효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 과도한 남성성의 수준이 높을 때, 심리적 외상경험 수준이 높을수록 도박중독 위험이 높아지고, 과도한 남성성의 수준이 낮을 때, 심리적 외상경험은 도박중독과 유의미한 관계를 보이지 않았다. 이는 높은 수준의 과도한 남성성이 심리적 외상경험을 가진 남성의 도박중독 가능성을 증가시킬 수 있음을 시사한다.

Objectives This study examines whether Unmitigated agency moderates the relationship between psychological trauma experiences and gambling addiction in adult men. Methods The participants consisted of men aged between 20 and 60. Data were collected from 299 men through online surveys conducted by a data collection company. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 for descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis, and the moderation model was tested using the process macro model 1. Results The results of the study are as follows: First, psychological trauma experiences and Unmitigated agency in men were correlated with gambling addiction. Second, Unmitigated agency had a moderating effect on the relationship between men's psychological trauma experiences and gambling addiction. Conclusions When levels of Unmitigated agency were high, the greater the level of psychological trauma experiences, the higher the risk of gambling addiction. When levels of Unmitigated agency were low, psychological trauma experiences were not significantly related to gambling addiction. This suggests that high levels of Unmitigated agency can increase the likelihood of gambling addiction in men who have experienced psychological trauma.
