REBT의 합리적·비합리적 신념 척도 개발 및 타당화

The Development and Validation of the Rational and Irrational Beliefs Scale of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy(REBT)

목적 본 연구는 REBT 인지정서행동치료의 합리적·비합리적 신념 척도를 개발하여 타당도를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 수도권 지역의 성인 750명을 대상으로 2022년 10월부터 2022년 12월까지 합리적·비합리적 신념 문항을 개발하기 위한 설문 조사를 실시하고, 최종 684부를 분석에 활용하였다. 자료분석은 문항의 양호도 및 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 검증, 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 교차타당성 검증을 위해 측정동일성 검증, 잠재평균분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 탐색적 요인분석 결과에서 합리적·비합리적 신념척도의 하위요인들 모두 합리적 신념과 비합리적 신념 전체와 각각 높은 상관관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 하위 요인 간의 상관관계도 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 탐색적 요인분석 및 확인적 요인분석이 실시된 두 표본에 대해 교차타당성을 검증하고, 수렴 및 변별 타당도 결과에서도 높은 타당도를 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구는 REBT 인지정서행동치료의 합리적 신념과 비합리적 신념의 개념 및 구인을 탐색하여 국내에 적용할 수 있는 자기보고식 척도를 개발하고, 본 척도가 합리적·비합리적 신념 측정에 활용될 수 있는 안정적인 척도임을 확인하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.

Objectives In Study, the rational and irrational belief scale for REBT cognitive emotional behaviour therapy was developed. Methods The sub-factors of the scale analyzed through exploratory factor analysis showed high correlations with both rational and irrational beliefs. The confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that the model fit was appropriate, indicating the validity and reliability of the scale. Results Cross-validation was conducted to verify the stability of the scale, and the results showed that the rational and irrational belief scale can be reliably used in the field of REBT cognitive emotional behaviour therapy. Convergent and discriminant validity results also indicated high convergent validity, ensuring the reliability and validity of the scale. Conclusions Additionally, the study analyzed the clinical usefulness of the scale by determining the optimal cutting point, sensitivity, and specificity using the depression scale as the discrimination score.
