Objective: This study aimed to examine the associations between unwanted sex and demographic, disability, daily living, and psycho-social characteristics among Korean adults with Disabilities. Subjects: The participants were 4,335 persons with disabilities aged 19 and above. Methods and Procedures: 1st Wave data from the Panel Survey of the Life of Persons with Disabilities (2018) was used, and rare event logistic regression analysis was used to test the association between unwanted sex and independent variables. Results: The prevalence of unwanted sex among adults with disabilities was low because of measuring the past year, not a lifetime. Marital status, economic poverty, employment status, use of social welfare facilities, use of SNS, and experience of sexual life counseling were significant predictors of unwanted sex. Conclusion: Nationally representative data that can examine the lifetime prevalence of unwanted sex among adults with disabilities is needed to estimate the number of people who experienced unwanted sex more accurately. There is also a need for enhanced sexual violence counseling centers for a safe sexual life among adults with disabilities.
