The current postgraduate academic English course is mainly set for senior undergraduate students and non-English major graduate students. Therefore, it differs from general English courses and places greater emphasis on cultivating students’ skills in literature reading, critical thinking, and logical expression. During the course practice, various levels of dialogue are generated: dialogue between students and texts, group collaboration dialogue, and text output dialogue. Dialogic communication is the core of classroom activities. Bakhtin’s dialogic theory, based on equality and openness, emphasizes inter-subjectivity and eliminates the traditional teacher-centered position in the classroom, which has significant guiding implications for specific teaching practices.

研究生学术英语课程目前主要是针对高年级本科生和非英语专业研究生的大学英语课程。该课程的开设意味着学生对学术文本的阅读和写作有了更高要求。因此它不同于通用英语课程,更强调培养学生的文献阅读,批判思维和逻辑表达能力。在课程实践过程之中,会产生多层次的对话:学生与文本间对话,小组合作对话和文本输出对话。对话性的交流就是课堂活动的主体。巴赫金的对话理论以平等开放性为基础,强调主体间性,消解了传统课堂中的教师中心地位,对具体的教学实践有重大的指导意义。
