스포츠 디비전 시스템에 관한 국외 학술 연구 지식체계 분석

Analyzing the Knowledge Base of International academic studies on sports division(promotion and relegation) system

이 연구는 100여 년에 걸쳐 스포츠 선진국에서 형성된 디비전 시스템을 다양한 관점에서 이해해보고, 중요한 학술적 견해를 발견해 보고자 하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 스포츠 디비전 시스템과 관련된 국외 연구 동향을 다각적으로 분석하고, 학술적 담론을 생성하고자 하였다. 해외 학술 데이터베이스를 활용하여 데이터 수집을 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 172편의 논문을 선정하여분석에 활용하였다. 자료를 처리하기 위해 R 프로그램(4.3.3 version)을 활용하여 텍스트 마이닝을 실시하였으며, 토큰화(tokenization)와 불용어 처리 등을 통해 전처리 과정을 실시하였다. 구체적인 분석은 총 3가지 차원에서 진행하였고, 첫째, 빈도분석, 둘째, 네트워크 분석, 셋째, 토픽모델링 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 빈도 분석 결과, 대부분의 승강제 리그관련 연구가 시스템, 영향, 구조, 모델, 경제성 등과 같은 거시적인 측면에서 진척된 것으로 해석되었다. 또, 축구 종목 리그의 미시적인 측면에 한정되어 상당수 연구가 진행되었다는 사실을 도출하였다. 둘째, 네트워크 분석 결과, 승강제 리그의 구조적인 부분, 다양한 경쟁 전략, 경제적 측면, 소비자 수요, 지역 사회에 미치는 다양한 파급력 등에서 주요한 상관관계가 도출되었다. 또한, 분데스리가, 유럽축구리그, 프리미어리그, 메이저리그사커 등과 효율, 영향 등의 핵심어 간 연관성도 유효한 값으로 나타났다. 셋째, 토픽 모델링 분석 결과, 총 3가지 토픽이 도출되었는데, ‘승강제리그의 시스템 구축의 실효성 검증’, ‘승강제 리그의 경제적 효과 분석’, ‘지역 사회 중심의 승강제리그 가치 구현’으로 각각 명명되었다. 총 3가지 차원의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 도출된 국내 승강제리그 사업에 대한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역 내 클럽의 세부 구조 개선을 위한 지원체계 및우수사례 발굴 시급하다. 둘째, 특정 종목에 ‘선택과 집중’을 해야 하며, 국내의 경우, 축구 종목이될 수 있다. 셋째, 지역 사회 중심의 승강제 리그가 조직될 수 있는 환경 개선이 필요하다.

This study aims to understand the division system formed in sports-advanced countries over 100 years from various perspectives and to discover significant academic views. To this end, foreign research trends related to the sports division system were analyzed from various angles. Data was collected using an overseas academic database, and 172 papers were finally selected and used for analysis. In order to process the data, text mining was conducted using the R program (4.3.3 version), and a pre-processing process was performed through tokenization and ‘stopwards’ processing. The specific analysis was conducted in a total of 3 dimensions, and first, frequency analysis, second, network analysis, and third, topic modeling analysis were conducted. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of frequency analysis, it was interpreted that most of the researchs related to ‘promotion and relegation league’ have advanced in macroscopic aspects such as system, impact, structure, model, and economic feasibility. In addition, it was derived that a significant number of studies were limited to the microscopic aspects of the soccer sports league. Second, as a result of network analysis, major correlations were derived in the structural part of the ‘promotion and relegation league’, various competition strategies, economic aspects, consumer demand, and various ripple effects on the local community. In addition, the correlation between keywords such as efficiency and influence with Bundesliga, European Football League, Premier League, and Major League Soccer was also found to be effective values. Third, as a result of topic modeling analysis, a total of three topics were derived. The implications for the domestic ‘promotion and relegation league’ project derived based on the analysis results of a total of 3 dimensions are as follows. First, it is urgent to find a support system and excellent cases for improving the detailed structure of clubs in the region. Second, it is necessary to 'select and focus' on specific events, and in the case of Korea, it can be a soccer event. Third, it is necessary to improve the environment in which a community-centered ‘promotion and relegation league’ can be organized.
