현장 체험 한국 문화 교육 방안 - 소그룹 활동을 중심으로

An Experience-Focused Culture Education Method - Focusing on small group activity

본 연구는 한국어 학습자들의 문화 교육 방안으로서 현장 체험 중심의 교육을 제안하고 이와 관련한 실제 수업에 활용할 수 있는 수업의 실제를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 교수자의 현장 경험을 바탕으로 한 실제자료와 과제를 제시해 보았다. 학습 방법으로는 ‘체험’ 중심의 문화 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 체험 중심의 문화교육을 하되 실제 교실에서의 수업을 구상해보고 그 수업의 방법으로 소그룹 활동을 중심으로 제시했다. 소그룹 활동은 교사가 일방적으로 설명하고 가르치는 교사 중심의 교육에서 벗어나 학습자들의 협동 과정을 통해 스스로 느끼고 판단하게 해 줄 수 있다. 그러나 앞으로 계속하여 문화수업의 실제적인 운영방안과 수업방안이 연구되고 조사되어져야 할 것이다.

This study is designed to propose an experience-focused culture education for Korean language learners and to suggest a concrete method-small group activity -that can be applied to the field. Recently the number of foreigners and Koreans who want to learn Korean language have increased rapidly. They tend to experience cultural shock and discord in the new environment. The cultural conflict seems to exert a negative impact on their learning of Korean language. Therefore, it seems to be important to assist their adaptation to the Korean culture so to have emotional stability and to have positive attitude toward the Korean culture. In this context, culture education may promote learner's adaptation to culture.
